The new MyFlavor 40K from Adjust is a next-gen disposable vape featuring flavor-mixing technology. Instead of single flavors, the menu comprises eight flavor combos, each with three levels of mixability. For example, if orange/strawberry sounds good, you could mix it with equal parts of both flavors or have the strawberry or orange more dominant. All while you vape, with the simple press of a button!
Other features of the MyFlavor 40K include an 800 mAh rechargeable battery, Burst mode, a 20 mL e-liquid capacity, and a dual-mesh coil. There’s a smart screen for battery and juice monitoring, including a digital mixing board for you to adjust the flavor balance. The draw is best suited for a restricted lung hit, and there is no adjustable airflow. Since the MyFlavor has 5% nic salt, these devices are probably best for those who have a higher tolerance for nicotine because they work best with bigger hits.
On paper, the MyFlavor seems like it should be a fun disposable to use. Let’s get into the details and see if that was true for me.

Size, look, and feel
The MyFlavor is boxy and angular. It features an outer clear plastic shell, a nice duckbill-style mouthpiece, and two-toned colorways suggestive of the flavor combos. It measures 101.5 mm x 51 mm × 26.5 mm and weighs 97 grams. It’s about the same size as the MyCool by Adjust, though it has a different body styling.
Along the side panel are two buttons, located in the sweet spot of where your thumb will be. The circular button is for Burst mode, and the oval button is for mixing flavors. Both buttons are clicky and responsive.
One thing I like about the look of the MyFlavor is the screen. It’s easy to read, but it’s not super bright. It’s got a black background, and it doesn’t emit a lot of light. I really appreciate that when I’m using the MyFlavor in the dark.
Unfortunately, I’m not a huge fan of the overall aesthetics of the device. It just feels a bit cobbled together from a design standpoint. That outer plastic shell doesn’t have a function (maybe it protects the screen?), and it doesn’t add much of an aesthetic value. I know; that’s all subjective.
Getting started
Despite all its features, the MyFlavor is super simple to use. Once you remove the device from its packaging, you can start vaping it immediately. Be sure to remove that QR code sticker on the MyFlavor (saying something about a $100 contest). That sticker covers the airflow. If you fail to remove it, the device won’t activate.
When you want to get started, just inhale. It’s got an automatic draw, which means it activates when you draw on the mouthpiece. As mentioned, the two buttons are for adjusting the flavor and for Burst mode (those are not fire buttons). Additionally, when you want to check the status of your battery or eliquid, you can just press a button, and it’ll display the screen quickly.
To adjust the flavor, simply press the top (oval) button. When you look at the screen, you’ll see two sets of triangles pointing to a flavor (labeled on the plastic outer shell). With the press of the button, you’ll notice the triangles changing. When you see a large triangle nesting together with a smaller one, that’s the max for that flavor. If you want less of that flavor, press the button until there’s only one triangle.
Changing power modes is equally easy. Simply press the bottom circular button, and you’ll be in Burst mode. This gives you more heat and vapor—subsequently, it’ll also drain your battery and wallet faster. The MyFlavor is rated at 40k puffs in regular mode and 20k puffs in burst mode.
The battery status indicator is located at the top of the screen with cellular-style bars. The liquid levels (since there’s more than one liquid inside) are at the bottom of the screen and are indicated by a row of dots, color-coded with the flavor they represent.
Note: I don’t know what happens if one flavor gets depleted before the other.
How does it hit?
The MyFlavor delivers quick and airy hits. If you prefer a direct-lung draw, the MyFlavor does it well. Normal mode is actually a bit airier than Burst mode, but it’s much cooler. Burst mode has a slightly tighter draw with warmer vapor production.
I keep MyFlavor in Burst mode because the flavor is much better, and I need that extra warmth. However, despite Burst mode having a slightly tighter draw, the hits can be a bit much for me. Even though I normally take long hits and have a high tolerance for nicotine (either salt or freebase), the MyFlavor can get me a little dizzy. I would really appreciate adjustable airflow with this device.
Despite those points, there haven’t been any hiccups or malfunctions with the MyFlavor.
Adjust MyFlavor 40K best flavors
I recently reviewed the MyCool, and am also working on the MySour and MySweet reviews. But while I've been impressed by the flavors of the rest of the lineup, it's not been the same for me with the MyFlavor. While I don’t particularly care for the actual flavors, the biggest issue is that I can barely taste them, at least compared to other disposables on the market (even from Adjust). I think this is due to the excess airflow of the MyFlavor. Unfortunately, that makes the flavor mixing feature—the main feature of the device—lackluster.
These are the flavors I’ve tried:
Mixed mint: A mixture of peppermint and Miami mint. For a flavor mixing device, good luck distinguishing peppermint from Miami mint.
Blueberry raspberry: This is one of those blueberry vapes with a briny blueberry taste. It tastes natural but is sour and not very appealing. Even when I try and turn down the blueberry, the aroma still overpowers the raspberry.
Orange strawberry: This is my favorite. It’s a light but pleasant strawberry taste with a vibrant and sweet orange. The strawberry doesn’t pull its weight enough against the orange, though. Even at max strawberry and low orange, it’s hard to make out the strawberry.
Pineapple ice peach: From what I can distinguish between the flavors, the peach ice is the more palatable flavor of the two. The pineapple is okay, but it has a slightly funky taste to it. I would have liked this one if I could eliminate the pineapple altogether, because it’s the stronger of the two flavors.
How long does it last?
The MyFlavor has an 800 mAh battery and is marketed as having 20 mL of eliquid. I haven’t finished one yet (and probably won’t), but I have at least depleted a battery. The battery life between charges is average, and it takes a long charge of about 95 minutes. Luckily, the MyFlavor has pass-thru charging should you get antsy and want to vape during that long charge.
From my experience, the MyFlavor can last about a day of use before needing to recharge. Obviously, that’s going to depend on how much you vape.
It would be nice if disposable manufacturers added a puff counter to their devices (they’re adding everything else!); then, we’d be able to objectively say how much we’ve used between charges. Until then, I figured out another way. Weight!
I weighed my devices with a jewelry scale before I started using them. They all weighed about the same, approximately 97 grams, with negligible differences. After my first charge, my orange/strawberry MyFlavor weighed 94.2 grams. An mL of e-liquid weighs roughly between 1.1 and 1.2 grams depending on PG/VG ratio, which means that I went through approximately 2.5 mL of e-liquid on a charge.
This is the first time I’ve published this type of testing for a disposable vape. While it may not be super accurate, it's useful if you want to compare battery life and get a rough estimate of total juice capacity. I’m sitting here thinking of the many disposables I’ve used that only lasted three charges. Hmmm...

Verdict
I was sure the MyFlavor 40K was going to be one of my new favorites. Considering my appreciation for Adjust disposables, I had no reason to doubt the MyFlavor or the tech. The thing is, if a device is built around flavor mixing, the flavor has to be good, and the mixes have got to be interesting. Mixing peppermint and Miami mint?
It's not just the uninspired pairings; the flavor is muted. And the airflow is too loose in regular mode. Although you can get a tighter hit with Burst mode, and you could force an MTL draw if you must, it seems like too much effort for not much reward. Sadly, no matter what I tried, the main feature—the whole point of this device—fell flat.
Add that to those issues with the long charge time, and I simply cannot recommend the MyFlavor. Sure, it has some good qualities, but none that make me want to take it with me on a trip.
If flavor is what you’re after, you can find much better... especially from Adjust.
