The Fruitia x Fume 8000 is a newcomer in the crowded disposable vape market. A collaboration between vape juice manufacturer Fruitia and disposable brand Fume, it's produced by Orjoy. With so many brands involved, it's hard to know what to call this device. It packs a 700 mAh battery, a mesh coil, and 14 available flavors in 5% nicotine salt. The juice capacity is a hefty 17 mL, which is quite generous!
On paper, these specs might sound impressive, but I find myself less than enthused with the devices. It's not that the Fruitia x Fume 8000 does anything particularly wrong. It even features a juice/battery LED display to prevent the dread of a dead battery or, worse, a dry hit from depleted juice. But in a market already flooded with similar devices, it does little to stand out. So why isn’t this my new favorite disposable vape? Let me delve into the details.

Size, look, and feel
The Fruitia x Fume 8000 disposable vape is constructed almost identically to the EBdesigns (Elf Bar) BC5000, but taller and with a rubber mouthpiece. The Fruitia x Fume 8000, just like the BC5000, is made of a glossy and lightweight plastic, with a matte wrapper around its midsection. Although it has a modern feature like the "intelligent" LED, the product design feels outdated.
The rubber mouthpiece is an interesting addition. I've used these types of mouthpieces at vape shops, but just as a covering for sampling devices. As a feature native to the device, I enjoy having a mouthpiece that's soft like these. I even like biting on it. However, if you get overzealous with biting on the mouthpiece, you're going to get juice dribbling back into your mouth. That's not so pleasant to experience or think about.
Getting started
The Fruitia x Fume 8000 features a straightforward LED that's illuminated green, making it easy to read (although it is a small screen.) On the display, you can monitor your battery and e-juice levels. The battery life is represented by a numerical percentage, and the e-juice level is shown in a drop shape that depletes as your liquid gets low. But with 17 mL of juice on board, don't expect to see the juice meter move before your first charge. That's a good thing.
There are no adjustments or settings to learn with the Fruitia x Fume 8000. Open the box. Take it out of its packaging. Vape.
The device should arrive at your door fully charged. If it's not, it'll be indicated on the LED screen. When it's time to charge the device, do it like you would any other small electronic device. The USB-C port is located on the bottom of the device, and there's even an included USB-C cable should you need one (which is rare with disposables).
How does it hit
The Fruitia x Fume 800 features a mesh-coil heating element that offers a quick-activating hit that’s smooth and warm. But the draw is not a strict MTL.
While the airflow hole may appear small, don't be fooled. The draw is in limbo between a restricted lung hit and a loose MTL. I initially tried to vape it as a strict MTL (mouth-to-lung), but it made me cough. After switching to a restricted lung hit, the hit became more enjoyable. I believe the 5% nicotine might be too potent for casual users with this draw (particularly with these devices.) Interestingly, the throat hit is present enough to be felt but not overpowering, despite the head rush that comes after that first hit!
Fruitia x Fume 8000 best flavors
The Fruitia x Fume 8000 offers a range of 14 flavors from Fruitia, a known e-juice manufacturer. As the name suggests, Fruitia is known for its fruit and sweet mixes, ranging from the common to the unique.
I once purchased Fruitia juice a few years back while on vacation. I was happy to have found them. That might be why I was let down here. Most of the flavor options appearing in this lineup can be found in other disposable vape menus. I was hoping for some originality.
In general, I find these flavors to be lacking in impact. There are times that the flavor tastes obstructed by the taste of the rubber mouthpiece, but it's hard to say what's the cause (maybe biting on it too much?) Regardless, I did have some favorites. These are the top three that I reach for:
Strawberry beltz: If you've had the sour belts candy, this has a similar flavor but with an emphasis on the strawberry. It's sour with a sweet touch. The aroma is straight-up candy. Light cooling sensation.
Bomb pop: Bomb pop apparently is blue razz, lime, and cherry! Who knew? I needed Google's help with that, but now I can see how this flavor is supposed to represent that. Easily my favorite! Light cooling sensation.
Pink burst: A blend of candy and natural-tasting strawberry flavors. The most subtle of my three favorites, but still tasty. Faint cooling sensation.
How long do they last?
For liquid capacity and battery life, the Fruitia x Fume 8000 shines. I've still yet to drain one fully or see my juice indicator budge, and I know I've gotten my typical day's worth out of a few. My lowest battery percentage is on the Bomb Pop, and it's just at 50%. And that's my favorite one.
Normally, I can deplete a disposable battery charge in a day, almost irrespective of battery specs. The Fruitia x Fume 8000 could easily give me two days before I needed to charge. When I finish out one of these batteries, this review will be updated with charge times. Subjectively speaking, I'd say that these disposables last longer than much of the competition.

Verdict
Overall, I think the Fruitia x Fume 8000 disposables are average. The best parts of these disposables are the long-lasting battery (800 mAh) and generous liquid supply (18 mL). Another pro is that they function without any hiccups. I haven't had any functional issues with them. No dry hits, gurgling, or the device firing on its own.
However, when it comes to the quality of the experience, it's all rather ho-hum. There's just little that gives me a sense of excitement like I got when trying other disposables I've recently reviewed.
Since there's nothing objectively wrong with the Fruitia x Fume 8000, this is not a situation of "do not buy." I bet there are vapers who absolutely love these disposables. My verdict is that I would recommend looking into other options if you want that 'wow' factor.
